Wi-Fi and Broadband Problems
'Connected, no internet', slow speeds, drop-outs — the real cause, not another restart.
Symptoms we see
- One device connects, another doesn't
- Wi-Fi drops on Zoom calls
- Speed test says 500Mbps but Netflix buffers
- The extender made things worse
Common causes
- Channel congestion on 2.4GHz (a spectrum scan tells us in 30 seconds)
- DNS resolver issues that don't show in a speed test
- MTU mismatch on PPPoE broadband
- An ISP router that can't handle more than 30 devices
How we approach it
We measure — signal, retries, DNS response times, ISP backhaul — instead of guessing. If it's coverage, you'll get an honest Mesh recommendation for your floor plan. If it's the ISP, you'll get a report you can send them.
What you get
A network that keeps up with the speeds you're paying for, and evidence to argue if it doesn't.
