Wi-Fi and Broadband Problems

'Connected, no internet', slow speeds, drop-outs — the real cause, not another restart.

Symptoms we see

  • One device connects, another doesn't
  • Wi-Fi drops on Zoom calls
  • Speed test says 500Mbps but Netflix buffers
  • The extender made things worse

Common causes

  • Channel congestion on 2.4GHz (a spectrum scan tells us in 30 seconds)
  • DNS resolver issues that don't show in a speed test
  • MTU mismatch on PPPoE broadband
  • An ISP router that can't handle more than 30 devices

How we approach it

We measure — signal, retries, DNS response times, ISP backhaul — instead of guessing. If it's coverage, you'll get an honest Mesh recommendation for your floor plan. If it's the ISP, you'll get a report you can send them.

What you get

A network that keeps up with the speeds you're paying for, and evidence to argue if it doesn't.
