Printer Shows Offline in Windows 11 (Even Though It's On)

Likely causes
- The printer's IP address changed after your router rebooted
- Windows saved a stale IP in the printer port
- 'Use Printer Offline' has toggled on by itself
- SNMP status query timing out on some models

Print the printer's Network Configuration page
Every printer has a menu option to print its own network settings. Note the current IPv4 address — this is our source of truth.

Reserve that IP address in your router
Log into your router's admin page (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.254), find the printer's MAC address in the DHCP client list, and add a static lease. Now the printer keeps the same IP even after a reboot.
